Not precisely fibre related, but still a big project: we have picked some 50 kilos of cherries from my the trees in my man’s childhood home, where his mother still lives.
Of course we couldn’t eat them all, even when we shared (and we shared a lot), so we decided to make an some liqueur, jam and preserves.
My mother came to help and so did a friend who writes a cooking blog, and we made together two more cakes as well.
I hope this liqueur comes out nicely, but one thing is sure – it will have a gorgeous colour!
