Though I have no objections to knitting from patterns, I sometimes find that I can’t find the exact design I have in mind for a certain yarn. I’ve got some cottone-rayon yarn from Barcelana thinking of making a wide-skirted, lacy dress, but couldn’t fine any pattern to my liking, so I decided to make my own, which would also be my first top-down garment! Nothing like a double-challenge. Here’s the first bud of my dress, I’m sure this little one will grow to be quite big…
